Independent midterm evaluation of the way forward after the revolution: Decent work for women in Egypt and Tunisia project (Phase II)
Denmark/Egypt and Tunisia (2020)
CLIENT: ILO (via MO Consult)
The project is part of ILO’s gender equality portfolio and is funded by the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It aims to support a more enabling environment for gender equality in the workplace and for women entrepreneurship, and to improve the representation and leadership of women in employers and workers unions. The purpose of the mid-term evaluation is to assess the progress to date of the project, through an analysis of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, effects and orientation to impact in line with OECD/DAC evaluation quality standards and the ILO evaluation policy guidelines.
Due to the covid-19 situation, data collection was done remotely. Stonemark led interviews in Arabic with a variety of key stakeholders in Egypt and some interviews in Tunisia, and contributed to the analysis of findings.
