Objectives

The country programme comprises three core thematic areas namely water and sanitation, agriculture and economic growth, and good governance. The purpose of the evaluation is to assess the extent to which Denmark has contributed in the last decade to peace, enhancing stability and furthering democratic values seen from a fragile state perspective. The evaluation covered the five OECD/DAC criteria in additon to coherence and coordination.

Services provided

Stonemark was the key expert and evaluator on good governance responsible for assessing Denmark's programmes within governance in the last decade, which covered democratisation including support to media and human rights, gender equality with focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights and population growth, peace and stability, and migration. The assessment covered the principles of the human rights based approach (HRBA), aspects of fragility and contribution to peace, stability and democratic values.
